First stop: Inverness
How to get there: you can fly to Inverness from London. Once you arrive at the Inverness International Airport , we recommend you to hire a car as it'll be very helpful in driving to several remote locations of the route.
Inverness is the capital of the Highlands with around 40000 inhabitants. Visitors will find many attractions around the city: shops, places to eat and drink, parks for relaxing... Inverness host one of the world's biggest Highlands Games with hundreds of meat exhibitors and butcher's tastings.
How to get there: just follow the A9 road from Inverness to Aviemore. There is a public transportation network as well as some private driving options such as taxis or rented cars.
Aviemore is surronded by the wilderness of of the Cairngorms National Park and is a major holidays resort in the region. Get a taste of the country by visiting one of the oldest breweries in the UK: Cairgorms Brewery.
The Brewery has achieved considerable success over the years. It has a range of seven beers to suit all tastes that are available all the year round. They produce beers following a traditional Scottish recipe such as Stag and Wild Cat. This familiar brewery has many things to offer, not only top quality brews but also a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
