Hi guys!
are you ready to have fun?! Today we have something very especial to show you: we will explain the steps to prepare the world famous Scottish shortbread. Wherever you go in the Highlands you'll be able to find these pastries. I can assure you once you taste one of these, you'll never stop eating them!
The recipe is very easy to follow and you'll have no problem to find the ingredients. As you can see, there're no excuses to tackling it!
Ingredients:
100 gr butter
150 flour
50 gr oatmeal
50 gr brown sugar
a pinch of salt
1. In a mixing bowl, cream the flour with the oatmeal, the brown sugar and add a pinch of salt.
2. We recommend you to heat the butter before adding it into the mixing bowl. Mix well.
3. Cut into desired shapes.
4. preheat the owen to 175 C.
5. bake for 40 minutes.
